Support that helps you feel grounded, capable, and connected again.

When everything inside feels loud, unsettled, or hard to hold, you don’t have to make sense of it alone. This is a space to slow down, soften, and breathe as we listen to what your mind and body have been trying to tell you. Together, we’ll explore your inner world with gentleness, presence, and steady support at a pace that feels safe and right for you.

Hi, I’m Kim Thompson. I’m a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) and therapist who has spent more than 20 years walking alongside people during some of the hardest, most overwhelming, and most transformative chapters of their lives.

When someone reaches out for support, it’s often because the inside of their world feels louder, heavier, or more confusing than they want to admit. My work is to help you make sense of that inner experience gently, safely, and at your pace, so you can breathe again, feel more grounded, and reconnect to yourself.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply human.

I blend clinical training with a steady, compassionate presence so you never feel rushed, judged, or alone in the process. Together, we explore what your mind, body, and nervous system have been holding, and we build tools that help you feel steadier and more capable in your daily life.

Over two decades, I’ve supported people moving through:

  • trauma and loss
  • infertility and pregnancy loss
  • hormonal shifts including perimenopause and menopause
  • anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
  • burnout and exhaustion
  • heartbreak, grief, or identity shifts
  • major life transitions
  • performance pressure in sport, school, or work
  • moments where life simply feels “too much”

I understand how overwhelming these experiences can feel, especially when your emotions change without warning, your body reacts before you can think, or your sense of self seems to shift in ways
you didn’t expect.

But above all, my work is about connection.

I believe that when someone feels genuinely seen, heard, and understood, healing begins in ways that don’t always require big gestures – just presence, safety, and steady support.

If you’re navigating a season that feels heavy, confusing, or uncertain, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to create a calm, grounding space where you can explore what’s happening internally, honour your experiences, and build a path forward that feels supportive and aligned with who you want to be.

I’m glad you’re here. And when you’re ready, I’m here to help.
